Restrictions are being lifted and eased all throughout the Bay Area. However, each county is different in its phased opening depending on many factors (i.e. case count, hospitalizations, tracking, testing, etc.). As with most of our community, we at Venture Sotheby’s International Realty are eager and excited to get back to what we love most and are doing so as quickly and safely as possible.
Our main office in Pleasanton, CA is open for business! If you are in need of using our office space, please contact your agent or the main office at 925.359.9600 for assistance and coordination. Standard CDC guidelines are in place to ensure safety. We ask that everyone in our office please wear a protective face covering at all times and that social distancing of 6ft is adhered to. Masks will be available in the lobby near the front desk, and we have hand sanitizer stations throughout the office. And of course, if you are feeling ill, please stay home and refrain from coming into the office.
Current Real Estate Activity
Our agents are working and are ready to help! We have many listings hitting the market, and properties are closing on time. While Shelter-in-Place orders are still in effect, Alameda County agents have been permitted to show properties again. Showings need to be one-on-one with only two members of one household and one agent allowed at a time in the property. CDC guidelines must be followed while in the home. Because of some restrictions, it will take some additional planning to view properties, however, our expert agents are able to help every step of the way.
With social distancing, came a shift in the way the world is now receiving and viewing content and information digitally. Our offices have taken the Shelter-in-Place time to amp up our digital marketing efforts in order to keep up with these changing needs and patterns. With this, our agents have the expert tools to list and market your property digitally.
Alameda County Specific
There are a handful of Bay Area Counties that have moved into phase 3 of reopening, it is best to always check your local governing websites for up to date information for your particular area. As our office is located in Alameda County we will focus on a few updates there.
As of June 8th, this county has now opened up gatherings of “social bubbles”, this being a stable group of 12 or fewer people outside of someone’s immediate home. The phase should remain for at least three weeks, and CDC guidelines should still be followed. This does give the opportunity to connect again with close friends and family that you do not live with. Child care has fully opened up as well, not only for essential workers, and day camps have been given clearance to start. Some personal services have been given clearance to resume as well.
