Significant Sale Spotlight

December, 3, 2020

This extraordinary custom Ruby Hill home was a record-setting sale in Pleasanton, California. Listed by Venture Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Stephany Jenkins. This home was built by John Clawson and is situated on an expansive lot, with the finest materials, finishes, and quality craftsmanship used throughout.

Stunning spiral staircase entryway.

In Stephany’s words, “the sellers had custom-built the home just over ten years ago, and they were very meticulous about maintaining it. Each room was handcrafted and customized down to the bedding. The home itself is 10,200 sq ft, but it also has an attic that is about 2,000 additional square feet. The layout was so well done that it did not feel too large, and each room served a purpose that would be used”.

Meticulously customized throughout.

“The sellers were absolutely wonderful to work with and spent a good amount of time showing me how to use the features in the home. For showings, we wanted to showcase the style of the home, so the staging was minimal. We mostly just removed some personal items and replaced them with some neutral accessories. It was always fun to see the reactions of people viewing the home when they saw the views along with the fact that it has an elevator, movie theatre, and game room, to name a few.”

Entertainer’s backyard with covered patio.

This stunning estate received multiple offers. Even after entering escrow, some remorseful buyers that did not write an offer reached out, hoping for an opportunity to purchase the home. When asked about the continued interest, Stephany remarked, “it’s definitely one of those homes that you can’t stop thinking about. I feel incredibly honored that I was selected to sell it. It truly is one of a kind!”

Including a pool, hot tub, gas fire pit, expansive lawn area, and more.

A California Native Through and Through, Staci Tate | Agent Spotlight

June, 26, 2020

We are known, at Venture Sotheby’s International Realty, for having exceptional agents, who excel in their real estate markets. Our company’s passion and diversity give us an opportunity to have agents from all backgrounds and walks of life. Our agents are much more than real estate professionals, which is why we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight just what makes our agents so unique.

This spotlight, we are focusing on one of our California agents, Staci Tate!

Staci joined Venture Sotheby’s International Realty in January of this year and has quickly become an incredible addition to our brokerage.  She has been a REALTOR® since 2003.

Originally from Southern California, she has lived in Northern California for all of her adult life.  As a kid, her family had horses and even raced dirt bikes in Enduros. She loves to golf and can usually be found golfing 2-3 times a week.  Staci and her husband, whom she married in 2018 in Hawaii, love wine tasting in Napa and Livermore and belong to several wine clubs. She also loves to travel. Some of her favorite destinations are London, Barcelona, and Hawaii.

As part of the ladies’ golf group, The Castlettes at Castlewood Country Club, Staci has the opportunity to be involved in volunteering and fundraising. They are actively involved with charities such as Hope Hospice, First Tee, Kids in Need, and more.  These organizations often plan golf tournaments to fundraise and raise awareness for their causes.  Staci can be found volunteering and sponsoring many of these tournaments.  She also volunteered at our GiveBack Homes build day, with Habitat for Humanity in early March of this year.

Staci and her husband on their wedding day, their three daughters stood up as their wedding party.

She raised her daughter in Pleasanton, CA and lived there for almost 20 years before moving to San Ramon, CA. Her daughter, who now lives in Southern CA, is following in her mother’s footsteps by obtaining her a real estate license and is working for First American Title. One fun fact about Staci is, she has been riding motorcycles since she was five years old. She raced in Enduros with her family until she was 15. Staci and her husband ride with their friends to Street Vibrations in Reno, Wine Tasting in Napa, Frog Jump in Murphy’s, and other fun events.

Commitment to Family, Friends, and Community | Anni Hagfeldt

May, 15, 2020

Venture Sotheby’s International Realty is known for our exceptional agents, who excel in their real estate markets. Our company’s passion and diversity give us an opportunity to have agents from all backgrounds and walks of life on our team. Our agents are much more than real estate professionals, which is why we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight what makes one of our agents so unique.

This spotlight, we are focusing on our California office agent, Anni Hagfeldt!

Anni has been with Venture Sotheby’s International Realty for almost five years and is an integral part of our real estate family. Before making her home in the Bay Area in 1985, she grew up in Montana (Big Sky Country, Last Best Place). While in her home state, Anni and her husband, Doug, owned a restaurant and two bars in Bozeman, MT. She kept that business ownership mentality when she moved to the Bay Area and owned a hair salon in Pleasanton for eight years.

To say Anni is involved in her community would not do her justice. She has volunteered with Children’s Hospital, Senior Center, Booster Club at Amador, and even participated in our Venture Build Day with GiveBack Homes. On top of that, she and her husband were principal fundraisers that brought water polo to Pleasanton in 2002, with coach Colin Wenstrand and Stoneridge Water Polo. They were a vital part of establishing the first high school team in Pleasanton at Amador High School.

Outside of real estate, she loves cooking and in her words is “pretty much addicted to the Food Network”.  She learned how to cook while helping her Mother-in-Law during Wheat Harvest in Northeastern Montana.  Anni notes she could not live without her bicycle and all the amazing trails available here in California, which we are so fortunate to enjoy. Hiking, walking, and being outside are so important to her. She loves to travel, and take trips with her children and husband. Her personal goal is to hit all fifty states, she only has seven more to go!

Anni is an integral part of our Venture Sotheby’s International Realty team, and always has a positive attitude that adds to our morale. Her commitment to her friends, family, and community comes naturally to her and helps make her the strong real estate agent that she is today.
