David Gappell
Real Estate Professional
During his career leading private philanthropies, he developed a unique ability to work closely with philanthropists in a position of absolute trust and discretion in order to guide them and help translate their dreams into reality. David brings those same skills to the world of real estate, believing that buying or selling a home in Hawaii is typically part of a larger dream and a blueprint for the reality that we want to create. He remembers the immense joy and sense of adventure that he and his wife felt when they bought their home in Hawaii. He has not forgotten the way that their realtor stewarded them through the process and he would like to help others have that same experience.
David is a passionate sailor and active outrigger paddler. He has been a board member of numerous non-profits in Israel, including one of the founders and the past chair of the Jerusalem Season of Culture dedicated to promoting peace and understanding through the arts. He is currently part of Solar Matters – a Kohala-based non-profit dedicated to sustainable energy alternatives and the Ke Ala La solar bike and pedestrian pathway project. David’s “can-do” attitude coupled with his lust for life can be infectious and he hopes to share that with you during your next real estate transaction.
