Born and raised in Norfolk, VA, I grew up working with my dad on charter fishing boats. I love animals, especially dogs, and being out in nature. In December 1995, I attended commercial diving school in New Jersey, and became a certified commercial diver. It was a true adventure, diving through ice, underwater welding, and learning to operate decompression chambers. In the summer of 1996 I moved to New Orleans, and worked in the Gulf of Mexico for several years and later headed Logistics Supply for a government contractor. Six Mardi Gras' later, and ready for change, I visited Hawaii with my husband and his parents. We fell in love with the Aloha spirit and the 'Aina and knew it was the place for us. We purchased our Big Island home in 2002, and moved over for good in 2003. I helped my husband begin growing his nursery business of exotic plants and bamboo, and began learning everything possible about our island. Real estate had always been an interest of mine and I obtained my real estate license in 2004, and my broker’s license in 2007. I also hold CRS, ABR and GRI designations. I love helping people obtain their dreams, educating them on all aspects of real estate and sharing the Hawaii experience. I’m happy to assist first time Buyers or long-time investors. I specialize in both residential sales and vacant land/acreage, island wide. Real estate has become a passion to me and I am thankful I get to practice it in such a beautiful and loving place as Hawaii.
